Had a great time Sunday with my wedding couple for 9/27/08, Lacy and David.  Here are a few of my favorites:

Where do I start? This was the best wedding! 

First start with two people who really love each other, then mix in a couple of groups of friends who actually like each other, add a really special event and let her rip!

We started at Linda’s parent’s house and Chris’s apartment and followed Linda and Chris getting ready. Everyone was friendly and helpful.   We got some great shots of them in a relaxed setting, and then headed to the church. 

The service was held at St John Nepomuk Catholic Church in Yukon. The Sanctuary was beautiful, great light from the rows of windows on the North and South sides making my job of shooting without flash do-able. 

Father William Novack was the presenter and the mass was stirring on a very fundamental level.  Chris and Linda’s Families had added a touch of Vietnam and Philippines to the service to honor their home countries and traditions. 

When the service was over we all headed to Grand House for the reception!

A nine course traditional feast continued while Chris and Linda made their way to be toasted at every table (35) and before that we took a photo of them with their guests as they arrived.

When the table toasts were completed, the Best man toasted his brother. You could see the bond between these two clearly expressed by Mike as he raised his glass to his older brother.

When it came time for the couple’s first dance, Chris took the Mic and his bride. Dancing slowly with her on the stage singing a cappella to her the song ‘Acceptance so contagious’
